Nepal U16 team greet fans after win over Pakistan in SAFF u16 at Dasarath Rangashala

The U16 SAFF Championship runnerups will start its journey in the qualifiers when they take on Bahrain U16 team at Dasarath Rangashala. The group winner and top 5 group runnerups among 10 qualification group will make in the final round of the tournament which will be played in Thailand.

Bimal Gharti Magar will lead the team tournament as the star striker has been handed arm band in the qualifiers. Bimal who has already played for Nepal senior team and scored in his first competitive debut believes the team has no pressure and will perform to their caliber.

Iraq defeated Turkmenistan 8-1 in the opening match of the group while the second match will be played between the hosts Nepal and Bahrain.
