In the first match of the champions league this season Italian  league runner up Napoli will be hosting Borussia Dortmund .

The high hoping German giant Broussia Dortmund wants to start this season champions league in high note as they ended their last season being runner up of UEFA champions league after loosing final 2-1 against Bayern Munich. Napoli and Dortmund are facing each other for the first time in such a competitive match. Dortmund will be looking to defeat the Napoli in the away match to start with the win. Broussia Dortmund have won the title of champions league  for only one time in 1997. Meanwhile, Nepoli were reached upto round of 16 in the previous edition.
