India end up tied with Bangladesh as as Sunil Chhetri scores the last shot of the game into the net.

Bangladesh gets the late lead in 82nd minute of the game but they could not hold up as Chhetri shatters Bangladeshi heart scoring in the last minute of the extra time.

Bangladesh started with early possession in the game, however the first real threat came from India as Fransisco’s terrific display in the flank was turned out unused by Sunil Chhetri’s whose volley was not directed towards the target.

The later remained much on a midfield battle as both the teams were unable to posses threat to their opponents to end up draw in the first half.

Second half had all the say in the match. India kicked off both the ball and attack in second half. Their first second half attack came from a corner but could India not capitalize the chance after Lenny and Gouramangi missed on goal despite misunderstanding between Bangladesh defenders.

Sunil Chhetri missed a great chance which could have changed the phase of the game , he failed to hit the target in 57th which was big blow for the defending champions.

India failed to show their presence in attack with shaky performance which Bangladesh capitalized and move their men forward to find the lead. The plan turned right as Bangladesh got ahead in 84th minute in Atiqur Rahman Meshu’s goal through a croner.

Bangladesh just got knocked off just before they could celebrate their victory. Sunil Chhetri found the equalizer in the dying minute of the extra time as India steal points from Bangladesh.

India are ahead in the group table as Nepal is yet to play Pakistan at Dasarath Rangashala. Bangladesh had their first point in the game with a draw as they started their tournament with 2-0 defeat against the host.
