Kings Cup – MMC Proceed Final as Yona Marks Second Hat trick

Yona Elias scored second hat -trick in the tournament for MMC as they step into the finals of the tournament beating United Sikkim in extra time.

The game went into extra time after regulation time saw 2-2 draw between these two teams. The group A winners MMC got early lead just after 40 seconds of kickoff after Bhim Darlami scored for the Gurkha cup champions. The first half ended 1-0 and was followed by thrilling second half.

The inform striker Sujal Shrestha doubled the lead for MMC as they doubled the lead before United Sikkim could equalize in added minutes to the second half to take the game to extra time. Thubden equalized for Sikkim after Bijendra scored in 62nd minute to drop down the deficit.

MMC could dominate the game in extra time after Yona Elias found his hat trick in extra 30 minutes of the game. Meanwhile Sulav Maskey who played in the tournament for the first time added his name in scorecard as MMC made final score 6-2 scoring 4 goals in extra time.
