India defeats Bangladesh in group B decider as Bedashwor Singh first half lead was doubled by Krishna later in second half.

The first half accumulated lesser attach from either of the teams but India got ahead later in the first half. They got their first goal as Bedashwor Singh scored directly on a free kick in 43rd minute which remained the only goal at the end of first half.

Second half started with India’s lead. India were superior in attack. Bangladesh keeper Pappu made fine save as he denied Krishna Pandit in 62nd minute. Pappu advanced forward to clear one vs one ball and stop Krishna. Prosenit Chakroborty attempted almost from center line but the ball went inches over the cross bar.

India maintained the possession and played passing game. Bodo was gifted with great chance to double the lead in 87th minute but he failed to convert.

Krishna Pandit was left unmarked in injury time in opponent box as he made no mistake to double the lead.

With the win, India qualifies to the semifinals of the tournament as group B winners and will play Afghanistan on sunday while Bangladesh will face hosts Nepal on saturday.
