Three Star club expect to qualify further in AFC President cup and starting the tournament with the win could help is what Pradip Humagain believes.
Three star coach Pradip Humagain claimed that they will try to make the home fans happy. As a host country, they will try to start the tournament in a positive note when they face Bangladesh’s Abahani Limited Club tomorrow in second match of the day.
” Nepal has a bad habit, either its National team or club game. We always depend on other result to qualify further. This time we will give our best to win every match and proceed further. Our strategy will be to win two of first matches and remove pressure. ” , coach Humagain shared with the reporters on a prematch conference held at Everest Hotel.
Coach Humagain also added that the 2-1 win over Mohun Bagan helped the team to make coordination between the new and old players which will certainly help in the President cup group matches.
He also revealed that some of the players injured who did not feature in the friendly match are all fit to play tomorrow. New signing Nirajan Khadka was in recovery process from his broken leg while Biraj Maharjan picked up injury at the last day of the league.
Captain Santosh Sahukhala insisted that the defence and striking power will be key point for Three star club this season. Sahukhala who picked up injury in hand will play for Three star against Bangladesh league winners.
