Nani’s red card was controversial after he was sent off for raising his boots high which let Manchester United one man down.
Long range goal from second half substitute Luka Modric helped Real Madrid to equalize both in the match and aggregate score. Similarly Higuain’s cross found Cristiano Ronaldo who did not celebrate at his past home after leading Real Madrid forward. Ronaldo scored in both leg against his old club.
United despite to trying hard to fin the equalizer and then the lead, they were not able to come back later in the game.
