The debut game for Coach Jack Stefanowski goes unexpected as Pakistan Stuns Nepal in Injury Time.

Pakistan Football Team

Pakistan stuns Nepal in final minute as Hassan Bashir scores the only goal to make Nepal’s attack throughout the game fruitless.

Nepal started the game in positive note as they looked firm in midfield, but the striking line looked bootless as all the effort in midfield as not enough to break strongly disciplined Pakistan defense .

First half started with Pakistan’s corner as Sagar Thapa was able to clear the ball for Pakistan corner in third minute. However the first corner of the match did not threaten Nepalese defense. Nepal started the attack from fourth minute Jagjeet’s free kick which went away from the second bar. Nepal were near to first goal when Bhola Silwal did great job to win the ball in Pakistan box but later he could not place the ball well.

Nepal got another chance in 32′ as Jagjeet failed to connect the volley after nice work from Sahukhala. Another chance was wasted when Bhola Silwal followed Jagjeet’s path and failed to connect Volley. Nepal delivered great midfield coordination but they failed to beat Pakistan defense.

Second half started with change as coach Jack gifted Amar Dangol and Bijay Dhamal their first International debut. Dangol replaced Sahukhala while Dhimal was invited in place of Rabin Shrestha. Coach Jack experimented the squad as he preferred to check his squad rather than a win.

With plenty of subs and playing without Jumanu Rai and Anil Gurung, Coach Jack tested young abilities who failed to impress the coach. First half attack thickened with changes in the field. Nirajan khadka, Bhola Silwal, Bharat Khawas were all off the field which could clearly suggest absent of experience.

Amar Dangol was close to his first international goal as his head went inches away from the post in 75th minute which was only remarkable Nepalese attack in the front line.

Pakistan improved their possession later in second half, however they failed to make any other impressive attack except the one which was netted by Hassan Bashir in injury time.
