Nepalese Women Football team fire goals at Hawalli on a friendly match played with Kuwaiti Women team.

Nepal make their first official International friendly match remarkable as ladies manage to grab an impressive win at Qadisiya Stadium, Hawalli. Nepal landed Kuwait to play two friendly matches with Kuwait Women’s team, one of which was played today.

Nepal started the game from the very first minute as Sanjana added first minute lead to the team which was doubled 7 minutes later by Anu Lama. Anu scored another in 15th minute to give Nepal 3-0 lead. Although Nepal was without the captain and goal-scoring striker Jamuna Gurung, her absence was transcended by the team as Nepal were 5-0 up till the end of the first half with Laxmi Poudel and Dipa Adhakari adding their names in remaining first half goals.

Second half started with Kuwait decreasing the momentum of Nepalese attack but Anu Lama scored quick double in second half in 63 and 66 minutes making 4 goals in her name. Goals Galore did not stop as Chandra Bhandari, the girl with arm band in Jamuna’s absense scored another for Nepal in 70th minute taking the scoreline in the void.

Nepal Will play another friendly match with Kuwait on January 14, Tuesday at Qadisiya Stadium.
