Uzbekistan Football association are awarded with 2012 FIFA fair play award during the FIFA Ballon d’Or carousal on Monday.

According to FIFA, the Central Asian are recognized with international honor not only because of player’s fair performance but also as a result of better cooperation from fans.

“Points are awarded or deducted on the basis of red and yellow cards received, positive play, respect towards opponents and the referee, and the conduct of the officials as well as of the crowd,” FIFA said.

The award was presented on the basis of fair performance from both National team and country’s football clubs that participated in Asian Football Confederation in 2012.

FIFA Vice-President HRH Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein handed the award to UFF president Mirabor Usmanov after the White Wolves collected 498.84 points sidelining Guatemala and Turkey Football Association.
