Friends Club Celebrating their First Goal in Gangnam Style.

Second half scores from Dodoz and Jagjeet Shrestha confirms Friends club win to keep their hope strong enough for the super 8, meanwhile Madhyapur are still unable to move themselves out of relegation zone.

First half of the game went goalless as Friends were not able to find breakthrough even Madhyapur lacked proper concentration in the defensive line.

Friends club got ahead in the game through Dodoz’s accuracy in 51st minute. The game was even supervised by newly appointed National team coach Jack Stefenowski  which was his first experience at Dashrath Rangashala.

Madhyapur were not able to display proper football and their decrepit attacking did not add any goals to their side.

Thanks to Jagjeet Shrestha who directly spotted his free kick into the net which doubled Friend’s lead and ended up Madhyapur’s expectations.

Friend’s three points helped them climb back to eight position with 18 points while Madhyapurians are in the verge of relegation with 10 points and 14th place in the league table.

Despite of win, coach Ramesh Maharjan admitted they played poor football in first half while came back beautifully after the break. He added his expectation will be to qualify super 8.

“We have great side but are unable to display our best, I hope we can end in super 8 “, Maharjan told reporters.
