All three parties Liverpool, Swansea and Player has confirmed Liverpool is too close to sign Joe Allen from Swansea.
The new Liverpool manager Brenden Rodgers has revealed that he is close to the signing of Joe Allen in the next 24 hours after the presence of the midfielder in Thursday’s Europa league match against FC Gomel.
Allen was one of the key target of Brenden Rodgers who played his part in Team GB in Olympic and survival of Swansea is last premier league season. However Swansea’s New manager Micheal Laundrup as also made it clear that there will be no cheap deal for the Midfielder ,but lately Liverpool could be ready to pay the £15million that triggers the release clause. A deal now looks to be imminent after Allen was a guest in the directors’ box at Anfield on Thursday as Liverpool beat Gomel 3-0.
Rodgers confirmed after the match that Liverpool had been given permission to speak to the 22-year-old and he admitted the transfer could be finalised on Friday.
“I hope to conclude the deal in the next 24 hours,” said Rodgers.
