Multi-millionaire Russian club has secured a service of Christopher Samba who request transfer from last month.
Anzi Makhachkala have completed transfer of Samba from Blackburn Rovers defender for £11 million. Samba completed move in last day of the Russian transfer window. Samba has signed a deal for three-and-a-half-year contract. Samba was not featured in the team from the starting of January transfer window. Samba was strongly linked with Arsenal after Blackburn owners failed in the quality signings. Samba was in contract with Blackburn Rovers till 2015.
Samba links up with new Anzi manager Hiddink, Who was appointed manager earlier this month. Samba told sky sports in interview “It was quite sudden and a little bit anxious. I see it as a new challenge ”It’s a little club who want to become a very big one in Russia. They have a very powerful owner who wants to transform the club and bring the club to greatness. They have brought in Eto’o and Hiddink to transform the club.”
