Tottenham signs Sigurdsson
Tottenham have confirmed signing of Gylfi Sigurdsson from Hoffenheim on £8 million and weekly wages of £50,000.
Tottenham have confirmed the signing of 22 year old Iceland international attacking midfielder from Hoffenheim on 8millions and the weekly wages of 50000 per week.
Sigurdsson spent last season on loan on Swansea city and was one of the key player squad. Swansea was promoted into Premier League last season and has a wonderful season finishing in mid table. Sigurdsson was on the radar of rejoining with his former manager Brandon Rodegrs who recently joined Liverpool but he opted to move to Spurs and became the first player to join under new manager Andres Villas Boas.
Sigurdsson have already scored 44 times for clubs in 130 matches and 1 for national team in 9 matches.
Sigurdsson started his professional career with Reading in 2008 and left in 2010 for Hoffenheim. Reading was also in the list of the club to attempt on the player. Reading has promoted into Premier league for this year.
