Official: Giroud leaves Montpellier for Arsenal
Montpeller made it official that Giroud leave Montpellier for Arsenal. Frenchman was highly receiving interest from foreign club fallowing his impressive season.
Montpellier president Nicollin has confirmed 25 years old French international striker leaved the club and has signed the contract with Arsenal. Giroud was seen as a hot prospect in the Europe after his impressive season with Montepellier as a highest score in the League 1.
Arsene Wenger had revealed Giroud deal is 90% complete before the starting of the Euro cup and now France are already out of the Euro with 2-0 defeat against Spain in the quarter final. Giroud is the second striker to sign for Arsenal after Podolski. Podolski signed for Arsenal in may. The transfer fee is believed to be in the region of 13millions.
