Poland will be playing against the group leaders Russia in their second out of three games in the group . After their 1-1 draw in the opening match, the co-hosts will be looking for a win to secure their future in the tournament while the Russians will look for another win to stand as the group leaders.
Poland will be in the field without their first choice keeper Szczesny as a result of his act for bringing the player down. Greece were awarded penalty for the same and the penalty was saved by their substitute keeper Tyton. Poland will be in search for a win withing the roar of their home supporters.
Russia are unlikely to make any changes to their previous match where they won against Czech Republic 4-1 and it is probable that their second choice goalie might get order to continue to the squad in-spite of a return of their usual Goalkeeper from a long term injury.
Poland had their last match drawn against Greece when the man of the match scored fine header in the early half of the game. Poland are undefeated in their last 5 matches with three recent back to back win which came in the warm up matches. They have 3 matches won and two drawn in their recent fixtures.
Russia looks in a great form following their 4-1 win in the Euro cup openings. They have shown great results in their recent matches which includes 2 draws and 3 wins. Russia will be looking to top the group with great confidence they gather in their recent clashes.
