Ronaldinho Out of Brazilian Olympic Squad
Brazilian coach trims out Ronaldinho from Brazil’s provisional squad with play-maker Hernanes and Goalkeeper Cesar are also in the ‘not included list’.
Brazilian boss Mano Menezes releases 17 players from the Brazilian squad from his optional list. This confirms that the controversial Brazilian midfielder will not be playing for his nation in Olympics which is set to be held on London this year.
Ronaldinho has recent been in a controversy as he claimed that his former club Flamengo has not paid him his wages which made his move to Atlético Mineiro recently.
The Brazilian coach has his job yet to be done as trimming 17 players would not be enough to get 18 men list. He has to choose 18 best from 32 remaining.
Men’s Football matches at the Olympics is scheduled to start at July 26 while the final will take place in the Wembley on August 11.
Players like Hulk, Neymar, Pato, etc are expected to get chance in the 18 men squad.
