It is like a tradition that in-form player if relegates will be leaving his club as the players try to maintain their status. The tradition continues when in-form Nigerian striker plans to leave Blackburn after the team was relegated to Championship. Yakubu might soon place his transfer request to the manager Steve Kean as he might enter any of the teams which are highly interested to bid on him. Newly promoted teams, Reading and Southampton might enter the race to get him.
Yakubu has scored 17 times for Blackburn this season on Premier League, making his name on one of the top goal scorers this season but team’s relegation can make him a decision to exit the club. Yakubu joined Blackburn only in the last day of summer transfer window and can be leaving Rovers just after one year of service.
