Liverpool want Guardiola
Liverpool has shown its great interest in landing the former Barcelona coach to take in charge at Anfield as Kenny Dalglish was sacked by the American Owners after a poor performance by the Reds in the Barclays English Premier League this season.
Pep Guardiola recently resigned from Barcelona after he won the Copa Del Re finals as the last match with Barcelona.He stated he wanted to take break firstly but he hinted he would be looking for a new job this summer.Liverpool wants Guardiola to manage the club as Pep Guardiola has been very successful with Barcelona and is very high profiled.
The Reds previously made enquires through Pere Guardiola, Pep’s brother and also agent to Luis Suarez, but the Barcelona coach has not made a good response regarding the Liverpool job.
Liverpool owners Fenway Sports Group(FSG) has initially talked with Roberto Martinez who is regarded to be the top contender for the Anfield job.
