Manchester United striker Robin Van Persie could be out fir weeks after sustaining ankle injury

Robin Van Persie is not a new name amongst the Arsenal supporters. Former Captain and once the top goalscorer for the club was hero at The Emirates but his transfer to Manchester United has altered his status in the Arsenal faithfuls. The striker was jeered by most of the Gooners on his return and the relationship has gone all cold.

This time however , the Dutch striker will not be available for selection after carrying an injury. Manchester United are playing Arsenal in The FA Cup Quarterfinals tie and the striker misses out of squad due to ankle injury he carried in the match against Swansea. Persie however is hopeful of making the squad for Tottenham game on March 15. Robin Van Persie has got 10 goals in 26 competitions for Manchester United and is top goalscorer for Manchester based club.
